Welcome to "Where Are They Now?", a series that follows the journey of individuals who have attended one of our courses and how they have applied the skills and knowledge gained with us in their professional and personal lives. We believe that learning is a lifelong journey. We take pride in knowing that our program has positively impacted the lives of our attendees.
The aesthetic practitioners from Maison 627 joined us all the way from Winnipeg, Canada for 2 days of expert education. On Friday Jennifer, Erin, Freya and Ashley joined our own Lauren Gardstrom, NP for a full-day Sculptra training. The, on Saturday, they joined Lamija Hubjer, PA and Cristina Herman, NP for our hands-on Cadaver Lab. Spending a weekend learning with your colleagues sounds like the perfect time in Chicago!

What were your professional backgrounds before aesthetics? How does it influence the way you practice today?
Our team includes Jennifer Vincent (founder of MAISON 627) and Erin Bergen, both Nurse Practitioners, alongside Ashley Foster and Freya Martin, Registered Nurses. Between us, we have backgrounds in community health, women’s health, emergency medicine, ICU, and primary care.
That foundation shapes everything we do. We approach aesthetics the same way we approached acute care, through careful assessment, anatomy, risk awareness, and long-term thinking. For us, safety and clinical judgment aren’t add-ons. They’re the starting point.
What Inspired You to Pursue a Career in Aesthetics?
Jennifer and Erin completed their initial neuromodulator and filler training together nearly a decade ago. We built separate practices at first, often calling each other between patients to troubleshoot cases.
Over time, we realized how powerful real-time collaboration could be. The desire to create a space where experienced providers could maintain their own style while still having immediate clinical support is what ultimately shaped MAISON 627.
Why Did You Choose The Confidence Lab's Training Program?
We first heard Rana speak in Toronto in 2023 and her philosophy immediately resonated with us. She brings a thoughtful, anatomy-first, safety-driven approach that feels both elevated and real.
We’ve followed her Instagram and Patreon education for years, so after seeing her again at Needle Art in Philadelphia, we knew training at The Confidence Lab was our next step. We loved our trip to Chicago and are still soaking up what we learned. Rana and her team were incredibly generous with their knowledge (and yes, she truly has the best snacks in aesthetics).
What Is Your Favorite Aspect of Working in the Field of Aesthetics?
We’re aligned in our philosophy of subtle, medically grounded aesthetics. Building long-term trust with patients and watching their confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.
We also genuinely enjoy working together. We challenge each other, learn from one another, and hold each other to high standards, which keeps the work interesting and always evolving.
What Are You Doing Now?
MAISON 627 is a medically led collective founded by Jennifer. Each injector maintains an independent practice, but we work intentionally within a collaborative space.
It’s structured independence with support built in.
We consult one another during visits, debrief complex cases, and prioritize continued education together.
What does collaboration look like in your practice? How do you support each other's growth?
Collaboration is part of our everyday workflow. We’ll call each other into treatment rooms for a second set of eyes, share case discussions, and travel together for advanced training (often sharing hotel rooms and lots of laughs along the way).
We truly believe in community over competition. As independent women in this industry, we know there’s room for all of us. Supporting one another only strengthens the care our patients receive.
What Advice Would You Give to Those Considering a Career in This Field?
Invest in strong foundational education and seek mentorship early. Having experienced injectors available for case discussion is invaluable, especially at the beginning of your career.
Starting in a collaborative medical environment can accelerate confidence and sharpen clinical judgment in ways working alone often cannot.
At MAISON 627, Jennifer and Erin serve as Medical Directors for Ashley and Freya, creating a layered support structure that prioritizes both growth and patient safety.
