TWO-DAY PROGRAM

This 2-day program is for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists and physicians who have a minimum of two years full time injecting facial filler. Day 2 program does not require prior use of ultrasound.

What you will learn

DAY 1  Jan 21st 2022:  We believe in giving you the right tools to deliver natural, safe and beautiful results catering to the entire face. Attendees will perform hylaruonic acid facial filler injections for cheek augmentation, tear trough treatments, jaw contouring and pan facial rejuvenation. You get to hone your skills on your model of choice. As stated, you should already have a minimum of 2 years facial filler practice experience.

DAY 2 Jan 22nd 2022: We will show you the basics of ultrasound with a focus on practical applications and how to apply this powerful modality that can help minimize and manage complications. You will leave with a general understanding of: differentiating fat, vessels, and bone appearance on ultrasound, how to hold and visualize using a handheld ultrasound, targeting structures with a needle and a cannula on ultrasound using phantoms (animal/silicone models), and vascular mapping for filler injections.

DAY 2 AGENDA 

Our course will be conducted in a very intimate manner providing attendees guidance by myself or other expert guests who will be with you ever step of the way. We will begin our day with practice visualizing facial anatomy on ultrasound and targeting structures on molds and phantoms or animal/chicken models. During our human model training, no actual injection of filler will be taking place; however, attendees will be able to watch on ultrasound as needles and cannulas enter beneath the skin in target injections.

What steps have you taken for COVID-19?

We are taking every measure to ensure safety for our small group sessions. You are required to answer appropriate screening questions prior to the training and fill out a disclaimer. Attendees and team members will be required to have a daily temperature check prior to entering. Masks will be required. The Confidence Bar is completely sanitized with hospital-grade approved agents, high touchpoints like door handles and elevator surfaces as well as public areas are sanitized multiple times per day. UV filters in the air conditioning units, UV filters in the treatment rooms, nontoxic hypochlorous acid misting, plexiglass, and staff training to name a few.

What previous experience do I need to attend this 2-day program?

A minimum of two years of facial filler experience is requested to participate. 

Which areas do we inject during day 1 facial filler? 

The focus is on full face rejuvenation. Please note we do not inject high risk areas such as noses, glabellars and foreheads during this training.  

I am interested only in the facial filler portion of the 2-day program.

Will I get enough hands-on experience?

Yes, courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Courses are limited to  6-7 participants and fill up well in advance.

What is the cost?

$4,200. This includes goodie bags and lunch.

What does each participant receive?

Certification of completion, anatomy board, confidence cooler, injectable manual including safety algorithms, facial markers and facial vibrators.

Will I earn education Educational credits?

You earn 4 CE hours facial filler and 6hrs for Ultrasound. Please note this is not a CME course.

What do I need to bring?

You are required to bring your own model for Day 1 facial filler training ONLY. Day 2 Ultrasound models are provided.

Will I need a model for the course?

Yes. You are required to bring a model to Day 1 to be injected by yourself during the hands-on training. Bring a suitable model for the area/s that you would like to focus on. Models are required to arrive with no makeup on, hair pulled back of their face and no jewelry on. An allocated time for your model will be given closer to the time.

Will I need facial filler product for the course?

You are welcome to bring FDA approved facial filler with you or you can receive 50% off retail for the facial filler at The Confidence Bar. Please note: Hyaluronic acid facial fillers are the only products used during the training due to the safety profile.

Do I need my own ultrasound device for Day 2?

No. We will provide a Clarius L20 for you to use for the day.  We keep      our course very limited in size so that you will have your own practice.

Do I need to have any experience with Ultrasound?

No.  We will get you up and running and ready to start incorporating simple and      easy-to-understand techniques so that you feel comfortable with using a device in your practice.

Will I really use ultrasound every day if I get one?

We hope so! The focus in our full-day course is to incorporate 5 minute techniques to keep you out of trouble and prevent complications. If you are using it everyday, it will be easier to find and manage complications.

Will I be practicing live injections on people?

We will be practicing live visualization of needles and cannulas on a human model. Each person will get 30-45 minutes practice on a willing human model. We will not be injecting anything as the focus will be on developing the techniques you need to do live-guided ultrasound injections.

How many people are in your course?

We cap the course at 6-7 people. It is a very personalized experience where you will get a lot of practice doing the injections and facial areas you are most interested in. We would rather a small group where everyone feels confident in ultrasound rather than a big group where many leave underprepared.

I already have some exposure to ultrasound. Do I really need an aesthetic training?

Yes! You will be able to use your background as an advantage for sure, but getting the knack of the smaller footprint and techniques in the face will take a bit of time to get the hang of. We will show you some simple practices.

Can I bring ancillary staff to the course?

Due to limited availability and COVID-19, this program is extended only to aesthetic injectors.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final. Although If you are unable to attend, guests can transfer tickets to future course dates or send an aesthetic peer in your place at no additional charge. If an aesthetic peer is coming in your place, please give us advanced notice. Should this event need to be postponed due to COVID-19, your registration will apply toward a future event.

What is the dress code?

Please come in business casual (scrubs not required but optional). We recommend comfortable shoes such as sneakers as we are standing most of the day. Masks are required.

Who is the Sponsor of this training program?

Is parking available?

If you intend to drive to our course, please allow yourself adequate time to facilitate parking. Street parking is available but limited. Additional parking is available at the Impark Parking Garage, located two blocks west at 1301 W. Madison St., Chicago, Illinois 60607.  In addition, we suggest using the app 'spot hero' for affordable Chicago parking.
